Self-exclusion
Scope and purpose
Self-exclusion is a protective measure that allows you to suspend access to your Apaldo account for a defined period to help manage your gambling activity. It is a binding action intended to reduce exposure to gambling on the platform for the duration selected.
Initiating self-exclusion
To begin, sign in to your Apaldo account and open your Profile details. Select Self-Exclusion, choose the period you want, and confirm. The exclusion takes effect immediately and you will not be able to log in for the duration chosen.
Duration and fixed periods
The available self-exclusion durations are shown in your Account Profile. The periods are pre-set and cannot be varied. You must select one predefined period and proceed.
Effect of self-exclusion
- Access control: You will be unable to sign in for the entire self-exclusion period.
- Transactions: Deposits and withdrawals are disabled during the exclusion.
- Product access: All Apaldo products will be inaccessible while the self-exclusion is active.
Reactivation and expiration
Upon expiry, the self-exclusion ends and account access is restored automatically unless you have taken steps to extend or modify the period in accordance with the documented procedures.
Revocation and extensions
You may request revocation only in accordance with the documented procedure, which requires written or electronic notice. The Company will consider revocation requests but reserves the right to deny them in its sole discretion.
Financial protection and spending controls
During account setup or at any time, you may set spending or time-based limits within the My Account area. If you exceed a limit, related actions may be restricted. Revocation of limits requires written or electronic notice; the Company will assess the request in its discretion.
Promotions and communications
We take reasonable steps to ensure that no promotional material is sent to customers who have self-excluded. The Company is not responsible for promotions received if the self-exclusion cannot be recognized due to changes in registration details or if a new account is opened contrary to the exclusion.
New accounts and eligibility
During a self-exclusion, you will not be able to open a new Apaldo account. Attempting to create a new account is undertaken at your own risk and the Company is not liable for losses or entitlements arising during such attempts.
